About Us
Our web site is a small yet important part of a much bigger plan we humbly pray are of God’s will to grow Jesus Christ
Church in Santa Cruz County and beyond. Our hope and prayer is this website along with the other things our group is doing will help countless people discover (or rediscover) a growing and lasting relationship in Jesus Christ so they may experience His presence in their lives and ultimately spend eternity with Him in heaven.
Vision
To see followers of Jesus Christ better live and love as One as we independently and interdependently carry out the Great
Command and Great Commission. (Ephesians 4: 1-6; Mathew 22:37-40; 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; I Cor. 12: 1- 11; 12- 31 emphasize on
20-26; Eph. 1:27; 4:1-3. It is important to note that our dreams and hope for greater unity will NEVER overshadow the Gospel of
Jesus Christ for it is by faith in Jesus alone we are saved.
Our vision is a longer term desire that has an accompanying mission statement which is more focused on the here and now.
Mission
We exist to Help, Unite and Grow the Church of Santa Cruz through the power of the Holy Spirit. = HUGS (Verses. Mathew
22:37-40; 28:19-20; Ephesians 2:8,9,10; John 13: 34-35; 2 Peter 1-11).
These two statements along with our values and strategies provide filters and guidance to all we do.
